How to send a scanned document by email with the network scanner?

Select the [SCAN] tab, make sure [Email] is checked, choose a registered address or enter it manually via [Manual Entry]. You can add a subject and text. Press [Scanner Screen] to adjust settings, place the original, and press [START].

How to register a destination email address?

From the [SCAN] tab, make sure [Email] is checked, then press [Manual Entry]. Fill in the [Recipient], [Name] and optionally [Search Name] fields, then press [Save].

I cannot connect to the network scanner. What should I do?

Check the scanner's IP address. From a PC, run the ping command on that address. If the test fails, check the network cable, the copier's main power switch, and the IP router configuration. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.

How to store scanned documents on the controller's hard disk (HDD-B)?

Select the [SCAN] tab, press [Hard Disk]. Choose a registered box or enter a box number via [Manual Entry]. Adjust the scanning settings and start scanning. The files will be stored in the specified box.

What is Secure Folder and how to use it?

Secure Folder allows storing confidential print jobs that require a password to print. From the [RECALL] tab, press [Secure Folder], then [New Box]. Enter a box name and an access code. Secure print jobs will be sent there.

What is the maximum scanning resolution?

The maximum resolution is 600 dpi. Available resolutions are 200, 300, 400, and 600 dpi.

How to search for a registered destination?

On the Choose Destination screen, press [Search]. Enter at least one character of the destination name and confirm. The results appear. You can also use the index keys [A-C] to [W-Z] or [No., etc].
